DESCRIPTION

EwebCache ver. 1.95 is used with Internet Explorer ver. 4.x to 6.x as an utility for off-line cache browsing on Win 95/ 98/ 2000/ XP platforms. It does following things:

SCAN CACHE: When activated it will make CACHE.HTM Web page. This page lists all http, gopher and ftp addresses of files which exist in local cache. You may browse visited pages off-line.

FIND IN CACHE: Find pages in cache which contain some given text string and makes index.

SAVE PAGES: It save pages with pictures and other contents from cache to local directory. Hundreds of pages may be permanently saved with single command. Pages are localized in a way that they point to each other on local disk and are independent from Internet original.

SCAN FAVORITES: It processes Favorites bookmarks to be able to filter it by server type (http, gopher, ftp), and to make bookmarks printable with visible addresses or transportable to another system.

COOKIE BROWSING Enables viewing, editing or deleting of cookies on your machine

INSTALLATION

First unzip distribution zip file to some temporary directory using WinZip or other utility.
Start Setup program.
Choose Directory and Program group or just leave it as it is.
Click on Start Installation.
When finished click on EwCache icon.

NOTES:

If you do not wish to make new group or if you do not want new icons to be added in existing group make Group name empty before installation.
You do not need to uninstall old version before installing new one in the same directory but answer No when Setup asks if you wish new icons added in the same group. After updating with new version check Options and run Configure again. Then save options. Re-enter registration name and code if necessary.
Program group name is the entry name under Start, Programs.
